- Studio Dragon, a subsidiary of CJ ENM, is a drama studio in South Korea leading K-DRAMAs.
As a premium storyteller group, Studio Dragon fascinates the world with our original stories. Studio Dragon has 254 global premium IPs with 3,984 episodes. With 8 drama studio subsidiary companies / related companies and 276 creators, including Korean A-list writers, directors, and producers, we are currently planning more than 150 series, producing about 25 series a year, and distributing them to more than 200 countries.
Ever since <Sweet Home 1,2,3> ranked in the Netflix Global TOP 10 for the first time as an Asian series, <The Glory 1,2> <Queen of Tears> <Doona!> <Gyeongseong Creature> <Song of The Bandits> <The Whirlwind> <The Uncanny Counter 1,2> <Crash Course in Romance> <Under the Queen’s Umbrella> <Little Women> <Alchemy of Souls 1,2> <Crash Landing on You> <It's Okay to Not Be Okay> and a number of series have made it into the list, and these works were invited and nominated in international events including Canneseries and International Emmy Awards. This is how we are spreading the joy of K-DRAMA around the world.
Also, we are expanding our business to the world with the establishment of the Los Angeles International branch in the US (2019) and Studio Dragon Japan (2022). Starting with the first order for Apple TV+ <The Big Door Prize> series with Skydance Media, we are taking a leap forward as a major global studio by conducting various global projects with leading partners around the world, including joint planning and production of <Plotters> in collaboration with the Creator / EP “Soo Hugh,” UIS, UCP, and Ink Factory, and a number of Studio Dragon IP US remakes including <Crash Landing on You> and <Vincenzo>.
