Amid a series of coincidences and misunderstandings, Soon-Jae fell from the nation’s top actor to a tyrannical actor overnight. Without a moment to appeal his resentment and explain, he decides to take a short break at a villa at an relaxing island until the controversy subsides due to the heated public criticism.
One day, Soon-Jae suddenly gains a mysterious ability to hear the words of a neighborhood dog, Sophie, as if they were human language. Soon-Jae gradually opens his heart to Sophie, who was just annoying. Afterwards, Soon-Jae obtains clues that help solve incidents and accidents in the neighborhood thanks to Sophie’s words, and he takes on the role of a dog talk interpreter, delivering them to Cho-Won, who is Sophie’s owner and a police officer.
In this way, Soon-Jae, who has perfectly adapted to his life in the island, which was initially just a refuge, gradually recovers his self-esteem, friendship with colleagues, and love between family members through his encounter with Sophie, the talking dog.
