Summary
The webtoon "Shark" is a story about high school student Cha Woo-sol, who was a victim of school violence. He is overcoming trauma and realizing his dream of becoming a UFC champion. It is one of the most popular webtoon series on the platform, recording high sales in "Kakao Page" which is one of the biggest webtoon platform in South Korea. Despite being "Kakao Page," which has a relatively low proportion of male and boy favorites compared to "Naver Webtoon," it maintains a big male fandom. The unique story and action caught the eyes of global readers, setting a record of topping the Japanese webtoon platform "Picoma" and breaking the cumulative sales of 1.6 billion won. It is one of the representative webtoon IP of Toyou Dream. It is still popular in Thailand's Wichomix and France's Delitun.
