Summary
In a universe both distant and near, various “Forces” dwell.
These Forces manage the countless stars across the cosmos, including Earth, and serve as a kind of “god,” sharing their powers with living beings whenever their names are called upon.
Among them, “Shinmyohan” is in charge of granting human wishes.
Shinmyohan accepts the wishes of those who desperately seek the help of the gods, carefully reviews them, and then distributes “Dragon Balls.”
When all seven of these Dragon Balls come together, they transform into the “Dragon God” and grant the wish.
However, granting wishes is quite a bothersome task, so Shinmyohan would rather avoid giving out Dragon Balls unless absolutely necessary.
One day, due to Shinmyohan’s careless nature, all the Dragon Balls in his possession accidentally fall to Earth.
When people hear about this, they begin their journey to find the Dragon Balls.
If Shinmyohan fails to retrieve them, he will be forced to continue granting people’s wishes.
With no other choice, Shinmyohan ends up joining their journey as well.
